What is OCT Imaging?

OCT stands for Optical Coherence Topography.

This type of imaging visualizes the structures of your eye — from the front, or anterior segment, to the back, or retina. Your doctor may use OCT aid in diagnosing disease and managing your ocular health.

What Does It Do?

  • Generates 3D images of the retina, optic nerve, and cornea.

  • Gives us valuable information about your nerve fiber layer thickness and parameters of your optic nerve to better assess the health of your eyes.

  • In about 3 minutes, we can get more information about the overall health of your eyes, than ever before.
