Deborah Vallieres OD, Practice Owner, Board Certified
Dr. Vallieres, a native of southern New Hampshire, graduated from Rivier College in Nashua. She recieved her doctorate of optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, MA. Shortly after graduation she opened Steeplegate Eye Care in 1998 and has since enjoyed practicing and living in the Concord area.
Dr. Vallieres is dedicated to the early detection and prevention of ocular disease through state of the art technology. This is why she stresses the importance of yearly eye exams, good nutrition and UV protection for your eyes. In addition, Dr. Vallieres has extensive experience with complicated contact lens evaluations from soft multifocal to rigid gas permeable contacts for all types of prescriptions. She is dedicated to staying on the forefront of contact lens technology through meetings with contact lens representatives and attending continuing education courses.
Dr. Vallieres is a member of the American Optometric Association, the NH optometric association and volunteers for Onesight mission days, providing complimentary eye exams for underprivileged patients. In her downtime, she can be seen playing golf or mountain biking the local trails in the summer, or skiing and boarding in the winter.
Sheilly Banerjee, OD
Dr. Banerjee is a graduate of MCPHS School of Optometry in Worcester, MA. She is a native to the capital region, and is excited to finally be back in her hometown. She may be a familiar face, as she has worked at Steeplegate Eye Care for almost a decade as an optometric technician, before returning as a doctor. In her free time, Dr. Banerjee spends time with her dog and family, or going to concerts!
Courtnee Barchus, OD
Dr. Barchus is a graduate of MCPHS School of Optometry in Worcester, MA. At MCPHS she was involved in various organizations, but what she most enjoyed was being a tutor. She has always enjoyed helping others and educating those around her about the eyes and eye health. A few of her interests in optometry are optics and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Outside of optometry you will find Dr. Barchus spoiling her dog, weightlifting, and exercising.
